Crikvenica is situated on the northern coast of the Adriatic Sea in Kvarner Bay, about 30 km southeast of the river, 156 km from Zagreb. Crikvenica Riviera stretches from Jadranovo in the north to Selca in the south, providing many opportunities for relaxation and leisure. The city covers about 28 km2 along the coast, about 15 km in length and 2 km in width, located between the sea and coastal mountains, where the average altitude is 300 m.
Climate in Crikvenica is mild, which attracts many tourists from all over the world. For the favorable climatic conditions, in the 1906. Crikvenica was officially proclaimed a health resort.
